Welcome to the realm of Westeros, the A Song of Ice and Fire domain, where you can learn all about George R.R Martin's brilliant fantasy series. And if you're not already a fan, we strongly encourage you to check out our spoiler-free review of A Game of Thrones, which provides a great introduction to the series.
Among what Westeros has to offer is the premier George R.R. Martin and A Song of Ice and Fire forum on the Internet, a dedicated wiki edited by members of the forum and All Sorts of Weird Stuff, featuring news and non-thematic information about the series and about other of Martin's books. There's also the contents of The Citadel, our archive of thematic resources that includes, among other things, a gallery of Seven Kingdom's heraldry (much of it drawn from the author's own notes), a concordance of factual information and a collection of correspondence between fans and GRRM himself. Westeros also hosts a site dedicated to the planned HBO series, Game of Thrones, and the home of Blood of Dragons, a MUSH (an on-line, text-based role-playing game) set in Westeros, as well as the Ring of Ice and Fire, a webring that helps make series-related webpages more accessible to fans.
Westeros is run by Elio M. García (aka Ran) and Linda Antonsson, and we are currently working with GRRM on the forthcoming guide-book to the setting, called The World of Ice and Fire.
