Shire Post is dedicated to making the fantasy become tangible through the creation of small everyday objects, such as coins, that would be encountered by denizens of the realm. Coinage in-hand helps to form a sense-of-place, increasing the realism and enjoyment of any mythology.

An unofficial companion to George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series. Includes chapter summaries, character profiles, family trees, timelines, and many articles.

Winter Chills is the web-site for an online role-playing game, played by email - otherwise known as a pbem. It is set in the universe created by George RR Martin in his novel sequence A Song of Fire and Ice. The role playing game has been created, with Martin’s approval, by Guardians of Order. The events of the game take place sometime before the beginning of A Game of Thrones. The setting is in the North and involves two noble Houses, and other people of the North. The time period is before Eddard Stark is named Hand to King Robert Baratheon.
