Guardians of Order has produced a roleplaying game based on the A Song of Ice and Fire setting. Featuring high production values (including exceptional original art) and hundreds of pages worth of setting information, the game will prove as fascinating to the roleplayer as to fans of the setting. As of the end of July 2006, however, the company has been closed down due to financial difficulties.
On April 24th, 2007 it was announced that Green Ronin Press had gained the license to produce an RPG set in the A Song of Ice and Fire setting with plans for a 2008 publication. On August 16th, during Gen Con, Green Ronin also announced acquiring the license to the Wild Cards setting, again with a planned publication date of 2008 for the first supplement. The license will use to provide campaign supplements for the acclaimed Mutants & Masterminds roleplaying game setting.
