Via Emerald City, we learn that Fast Forward TV features an 18 minute interview with George discussing A Feast for Crows. An audio-only download is also available for those with slower connections.

It’s an interesting interview because it touches on some new territory, particularly at the end where GRRM’s status as a conscientuous objector during the Vietnam War is discussed in relation to his depiction of war in the series. On the other hand, I do wonder how his remark that conveying ideas of political, philosophical, etc. nature is best left to non-fiction will be received. I know a few people who’ll argue most strenuously about that.
