Valyrian Steel, makers of authorized reproductions of weapons from George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, has shared a preview picture of their second version of Longclaw, which will be a functional weapon using Damascus steel to get an appearance similar to the way Valyrian steel is described in the series. The first version of Longclaw was purely a display weapon, using paint to create the Valyrian steel look; this second version will be both more limited and more expensive to the extra cost that has gone into its construction.
