As reported earlier, joining Justin Sweet in illustrating the The World of Ice and Fire is Ted Nasmith, who along with John Howe and Alan Lee is widely considered to be one of the best artists working to bring J.R.R. Tolkien’s work to visual life. Ted has posted his own confirmation of his involvement, calling it a “wonderful project, and a refreshing (if temporary) departure…” He also promises to post a few images of what he’s done on the website, so keep your eyes open.
