Character States

The characters on the game belong to one of the following States: NPC, PC and Puppet.

NPC

NPCs (Non-Player Characters) are the characters from the character database that currently aren’t in play. That is, they only exist within the database.

NPC can also refer to characters so minor that they have not been added to the character database, such as an unnamed guardsman at a gate in King’s Landing.

PC

PCs (Player Characters) are the characters from the character database that currently are in play. That is, they exist as a character body controlled by a single player.

Puppet

Puppets are characters from the character database that are currently in play temporarily via a puppet (see HELP PUPPET).
