While the administration strive to run the best possible game, we know very well that we are not perfect. We also know that many of the choices we have made in regards to how to do things may sound odd or even controversial to some players. And, indeed, some of the choices may not be as clever as we think they are. So, we do not mind players commenting on issues on the game which they feel are problematic. In fact, we welcome feedback, because we feel we get far too little as it is. However, we’d like players to remember the following facts:
Try to make it constructive criticism.
Just because we agree to listen, it doesn’t mean that we will act on your suggestions. However, we will try to always tell you why we choose to do something the way we do, and why we won’t implement your suggestions. We know it is very frustrating to be told that you can bring up any issues you have with the game, only to be told that ‘No, this is the way we do it and it won’t change’, without receiving any sort of explanation as to why things are the way they are.
If you choose to not take your problems to the Admin, but rather complain about the game in public on the game itself or on any off-game boards, mailing lists or other such forums, the Admin may decide to ban you from the game. This, however, depends very much on the tone of the complaint. Saying that you think it sucks that we won’t allow PC Kingsguard is just fine, players have a right to disagree with such decisions. But if you decide to write up anything that could qualify as a rant, or if you decide to portray the game in a misleading and/or inaccurate way, we may feel that you are better off not playing on the game.
