Spoilers

Cley Cerwyn succeeded to the lordship of the house after the death of his father, Lord Medger, from wounds sustained in battle at the Green Fork, while a prisoner of Lord Tywin Lannister at Harrenhal. Lord Cley was in turn killed before the walls of the ironborn-held Winterfell, by an arrow that pierced his eye, when Lord Bolton’s bastard Ramsay Snow proved treacherous and slaughtered Ser Rodrik Cassel’s host in a surprise attack.
