The only Hardyngs to appear or to have been mentioned have been Ser Humfrey Hardyng, a renowned tourney knight during the reign of Daeron II, and Deana Hardyng, wed to a grandson of Lord Walder Frey.

Ser Humfrey Hardyng died on the behalf of Ser Duncan the Tall in a trial of seven.
