House Kettleblack

A black kettle on red, a border of orles

General Information

The only members of this house to appear are the hedge knight Ser Osmund, his brothers, Osfryd and Osney, and their father, Oswell.

Spoilers

The Kettleblack siblings became informants and sellsword recruiters for Queen Cersei, only to take give full report in return for coin from her brother Tyrion Lannister, at the time the Hand of the King. Ser Osmund was made a member of the White Swords at Queen Cersei’s insistence, despite his dubious martial ability, loyalty, and courage, and so joining the company alongside Ser Balon Swann after the death of Ser Preston Greenfield and the disgrace of Ser Boros Blount.

Osney and Osfryd were knighted after the battle on the Blackwater at Cersei’s command, although no one had seen them fight, and became her sworn swords. It was revealed that all three were in fact in Littlefinger’s pay, as was their father Oswell. It has been suggested that Cersei has begun to seduce Ser Osmund.
