House Lefford of the Golden Tooth

A golden inverted pile on sky blue, a yellow sun in the first

General Information

The Golden Tooth is placed so that it can control the one large pass through the mountains that allows direct travel between the riverlands and the west. The only members of the house to appear or be mentioned are Lord Leo and Leonella of House Lefford, who is married to one of Lord Frey’s sons. Leonella is presumably daughter or perhaps sister to Lord Leo.

Spoilers

King Robb Stark recently circumvented the Golden Tooth and the passage it blocks by using a dangerous mountain path, found by his direwolf, to lead his army into the westerlands. Lord Leo Lefford was in charge of the supply of Lord Tywin Lannister’s most recent army, but was drowned as he tried to force a crossing of the Red Fork.
