House Rowan

A golden tree on silver

General Information

The Rowans are one of the greater houses of the Reach, led by florid Lord Matthis. He has three children by Bethany of House Redwyne, a woman once intended to be the bride of Ser Brynden Tully. One of the children, a daughter, had once bedded a handsome singer’s apprentice named Dareon, only to be caught in the act. To save herself from punishment, she claimed Daeron had raped her and he was made to join the Night’s Watch.

Spoilers
