A shot of Samwell Tarly at Castle Black, kitted out for practice. This is probably his introduction scene, and his look may well be an example of a kind of sullen resignation to the sort of abuse he’s grown up with and is presently about to face. Hard to say from such a brief image which was practically a single frame in the final montage at the end.
