Pretty certain this is where Orell’s eagle—possibly with or without Orell’s direct control—attacks Jon Snow. Will they give the character the scars that Jon Snow carries after that? It’ll be interesting to see. Either way, they’ve significantly changed the circumstances of this attack, not least because Orell may well be still alive at this point whereas he was killed early in A Clash of Kings.
