Another look at the tourney grounds at Shane’s Castle. Notice that the rightmost banner, which we’ve previously speculated is the House Crakehall boar, based on having seen a heraldic sketch in the Fire and Blood Productions offices. Besides the change of the boar from brindled black-and-white to just white, if this is their take on Crakehall, they’ve also moved away from using brown in preference of this orange hue. This is interesting in part because Martin has in later days admitted that some of his heraldic color combinations don’t really work due to poor contrast of colors.

GRRM has felt free to break from the heraldic tincture rules of the real world, but has occasionally discovered that they existed for a reason.
