Here we see the exterior of the cage and its surroundings more clearly. There are heavy chains which appear to be the means by which the cage is pulled up, or at least they imply this while other means are used.In front of it is a platform, from which officers may address recruits and members of the Watch in the courtyard below. The face of Magheramorne quarry can also be seen. It’s unclear whether post-processing will be used to make it appear less like rock and more like ice.
