A terrific close-up of the Kingsguard armor, which we’ve glimpsed before. The breast plate features a sort of scrollwork crown, picked out with something like a white enamel. It’s quite striking, and is a detail GRRM seemed to like as it connects them to their role as royal guards in a very clear fashion. While the armor’s hue is different from that worn by the Kingsguard (described as all-white), the white detailing provides a connection to it,
