A rather blurry look at Ice, King Robert’s sword, and Ser Waymar’s heavily decorated sword. The contrast between Ice and the other weapons is quite stark—it’s by far the most functional of the three. GRRM’s own vision for the weapon seems to be somewhat grander, if the design e approved for Valyrian Steel is any example. It features a broader blade and a shorter guard, with the Stark motto etched into the steel, and with silver and gold accents.
