And this would be the melee at Bitterbridge… seeming rather less grand, and featuring far fewer horses, than in the novel. Shame, but that’s the reality of a television budget, even an expensive one as with HBO’s Game of Thrones. At a guess, it’s less a melee and more a single combat, and it’ll be interesting to see whether it’s just a one-off or part of a series of such combats.

Clearly, this is also the same location as Renly’s camp. So it seems the camp has been moved from Bitterbridge in the Reach to the shores of the Stormlands, perhaps near to Storm’s End.
