Stannis broods over his strategic map while Melisandre looks on. We see two new map marker types as well besides the Bolton flayed man: what look like two fiery hearts (representing Stannis’s forces) and then three swords through golden circles. This latter is mysterious, but given last season’s events, it may represent sellsword companies that Stannis has hired with the coin the Iron Bank has given him. This, too, would fit details from the novels (in fact, a detail from The Winds of Winter, no less.)
