Ser Barristan Selmy, Lord Commander of the Kingsguard and one of the greatest knights in the history of the Seven Kingdoms. He earned the name of Barristan the Bold when at the age of ten he entered a tourney as a mystery knight, ultimately to be defeated and unmasked by Prince Duncan Targaryen.

And before someone says, yes, it’s correct that Barristan does not have a beard. He’s clean-shaved in the novel.
