- Seeking MALE only cellists. Must have experience.
- Ideally men with medieval or period faces (i.e long hair & beard) but not essential.

- You must be OK and comfortable with filming a scene within the context of a battle where your leg has been injured. Prosthetic makeup will be applied as though your leg has newly been severed. We understand that this is not for everyone, so please only apply if you are happy to participate.
This can really only mean one thing… but it entails spoilers for the third novel in the series, so spoiler protection below:
The Red Wedding is coming, with a night time battle sequence apparently to be shot this week—fits with what we’ve been told by several reliable folks—and the main interior action due up next week. No, there’s no cellos in the Westeros of the novels (it’s drums, pipes, bagpipes, fiddles, and horns), but one supposes it’s not a big deal if some people are sawing away on cellos instead of fiddles (one really hopes the drums are staying in, though).
For many, it’s the pivotal moment in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, the thing that makes it what it is, and David and Dan have long said that if they could at least get through that, they’d be happy. Hopefully they’ll be able to execute it well, because if so, it ought to become on the most talked-about events in modern television drama.
May be time to listen to The National and their “The Rains of Castamere”...
