Misfts Actor Joins Cast

For those who are fans of Misfits, the British comedy-drama about a group of delinquents who manifest super powers (Michelle Fairley had a role in its first season), a bit of interesting news cropped up over night: actor Iwan Rheon, who played the moody, shy Simon Bellamy (a character who was one of the most complex storylines in the series, and one that ended with series 3—he won’t be returning for the 4th), has an updated CV —updated within the last two weeks, in fact—noting himself as having a role in Game of Thrones.

And what role does the CV reveal for him?

Boy”.

Yes, not too inspiring, but as he’ll appear in multiple episodes (given the “Various” directors noted), the fact that he won an Olivier Award in 2010 for his performance in the London production of the musical Spring Awakening (strangely enough, just the other day I was reading about Lea Michele of Glee having been in the original American production),  and he’s playing pool at bars with cast members such as Alfie Allen, Gwendoline Christie, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, it’s probably not Boy from the Inn of the Kneeling Man—that’s a very minor role indeed. We’re guessing it’s something more substantial.

Here’s a video of some of Bellamy’s scenes in the third episode of the second series (lets just say that Nathan’s not exactly himself…):
