Official Cookbook Appears on Amazon

Last night, we spotted the fact that A Feast of Ice and Fire: The Official Cookbook Companion to A Game of Thrones was now available to pre-order, with a June 26th publication date.

Written by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel and Sariann Lehrer (creators of the Inn at the Crossroads) and with a foreword from George R.R. Martin, the book will be a lavishly-photographed sampling of about 100 dishes described in the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series; despite the title, the recipes will be drawn from all five novels. The Inn at the Crossroads reported via Twitter that they finished a 7 hour photo shoot on Monday, and that they got their cover photo sorted then, so hopefully it won’t be long before we see the final cover.

If you’d like to learn a bit more, we posted a Youtube video where Martin announced the deal for the cookbook during his A Dance with Dragons signing tour. We also interviewed Monroe-Cassel and Lehrer about their site and their insights into Seven Kingdoms cuisine last year for Suvudu.com.
