The assassin unsheating the Valyrian steel dagger—much less plain a weapon than what’s described in the books, as the producers wanted something visually striking—as he prepares to do dark deeds. Although it cannot be easily seen, the weapon is made using pattern-welded steel, so on closer examination one will be able to see the ripples in the steel.
