A shot taken from Magheramorne quarry, where a composite set for Castle Black has been created. A composite set is one where several different set locations are all on one site. Here the “stone” wall is being touched up with paint. The Castle Black set build is one of the more expensive sets built for the production, according to reports, due to its having to be able to stand up to exposure.

In the distance, Larne Lough can be seen. The location of the Castle Black set is approximately 200 feet above water level.
