This is a close-up of a Stark direwolf as a patch sewn onto a garment, probably a servant’s livery. The wolf seems very similar in style to the direwolf relief spotted at the Castle Ward filming during the pilot, A bit of trivia: this same design decorates the sleeves of rain jackets worn by some members of the production.
