As Reeves notes, the production apparently loves multiple-man fight scenes, which is excellent for cinematic fighting scenes, and in keeping with the novels. Again we can see Bronn, letting a brave, rather foolish fellow charge out well ahead of everyone else against two clansmen. In the background are several horses, and one wonders what they’re doing there, as it seems likely that the raiders would just snatch them away.

Presumably the idea is that they were left to graze while the travellers sheltered among these windbreaks, and now have no choice but to hold their ground. In the novel, of course, a number of the raiders are on horseback, and much of the fighting is done mounted, but as noted earlier it seems this has been eschewed for safety and time reasons.
