A partial map of the North, featuring some of the castles and seats from the novel. Winterfell is partially off-frame, to the top of the image, but this does suggest that the show has decided to indeed place the kingsroad west of Winterfell rather than east (as per the novels), sorting out the “issue” of the direction of Winterfell in the crossroad scene in episode 2. Also, you can see Karhold partially obscured to the right, and Last Hearth (seat of the Umbers) is also noted. Quite a lot of attention to detail!
