If we had any critique about the costume as seen here—and we like the form of it, as it gives him a certain sleekness that makes us also think of someone unctuous—is the darkness of it. Littlefinger dresses foppishly, with lots of color, in the novels as a means of disarming serious consideration of him.
This scene is, as we’ve said, almost word-for-word from the novel, with some compression and a change of location from the Tower of the Hand to this garden.
