Another good look at Renly’s armor’s lower half. The green, leather belt is quite nice, especially with the stag’s head designs. Brigandine armor, as explained in the video, features many small steel plates or scales riveted onto the inside of a backing—in this case, a rich velvet—to provide protection. Historically, brigandines could be amazingly resilient pieces of armor.
