This is our very first, clear shot of Khal Drogo, played by Jason Momoa. This particular scene is rather unclear, though. It seems to be an expansion from the novel, with Drogo arriving in a garden or courtyard on horse back which is when Daenerys first sees him, whereas in the novel she first sees him entering a room in a manse in Pentos. This emphasizes his barbarousness.
Drogo is described as having large, ring-bound mustachios, with no reference to a beard in the books. This has clearly changed.
