House of the Dragon On Track for 2022

Deadline has reported on an interview with Casey Bloys, the president of HBO, following HBO’s strong showing at the 2020 Emmys. Towards the end of the article, Deadline reports:

“Bloys confirmed that casting for the series is currently underway, and that the drama is still on track for a 2022 launch.”

A little news is better than no news, and it’s good that despite everything going on in the world things are moving forward, slowly but surely. One would guess that we’re likely to hear about the first castings by the end of the year or early next year at the latest.
