Delayed by this and that, just wanted to announce the winners of a contest in which artists were asked to present an image inspired by Barristan Selmy, a character who fans will be seeing more of in the upcoming season of Game of Thrones.

And the other winner? Frank Valdez for this very metaphorical depiction of the idea that however honorable Barristan the Bold is, death will come in the end. A rather sobering thought that fits right into A Song of Ice and Fire, to stay the least.
