The Iron Throne
The Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms. Created at the command of Aegon the Conqueror, the Targaryen who with his two queens and sisters Visenya and Rhaneys unified the Seven Kingdoms under their rule. It is made from swords that Aegon’s foes threw down in token of submission.
The Conqueror said that no king should ever sit easily, and legend has it that kings have died on the throne ... and, in at least one case, were actually murdered by said throne.
