From Guardians of Order’s frontpage, we learn that some delays have been introduced in the shipping of the DLE due to the printer mixing up which books were in which boxes. This has taken time to sort out, so books have been mailed in batches rather than continuously. However, GoO states that all orders will be shipped by the end of the week.
The Quest of Thrones, Bantam Spectra’s internet scavenger hunt to promote A Feast for Crows, has now finished. The winners of the first and second place prizes have been announced.

The Dragon Page talk show has recently done an interview withGRRM for one of their shows. It can be listened to via their website, and among the topics discussed were the reasons for the delay of A Feast for Crows, thereissuing of some of GRRM’s earlier novels and the upcoming comic book adaption of "The Sworn Sword".
Thanks to Testors and Tom Meier, we now have three images of the 54mm greens from the fateful ruby ford. We’ve posted a picture of Rhaegar previously. While no retail price has yet been determined, this set may be released as early as December. Current plans are for only 750 to be produced.

Following last week’s news that A Feast for Crows was #10 on the Sunday Times hardcover fiction bestseller list, this week the series is up one place to #9, right behind Robert Jordan’s Knife of Dreams.

Locus Magazine, the premiere trade magazine for the SF/F industry, will be publishing an interview with GRRM and, presumably, one or more reviews of A Feast for Crows in its 538th issue (available in November). George is featured on the cover.
Sci-Fi Magazine, the official magazine of the Sci-Fi Channel, has a profile/interview with George R. R. Martin in its December edition. It promises to be quite interesting. If anyone has access to that magazine (its hard to come by in Sweden), please do send us a summary or a few short excerpts featuring any particularly juicy bits of information.
We’ve just learned that The Dragon Page, an internet radio program, will be interviewing George next week. The interview should be made available on their site in mp3 format on the 31st.
According to the Sunday Times, A Feast for Crows debuted on the UK hardcover fiction bestseller list at #10, despite the data representing only the early, pre-embargo sales through the 15th. Next week’s list should provide a better picture of where the novel really stands in relation to other bestsellers.
