Legends II (US Ed) Shipping!

The US hardback of Legends II is now shipping. If you haven’t already bought this book from the UK, now is the time to do so. GRRM’s story, "The Sworn Sword" is a great read.

GRRM’s official site has received a partial make-over as well as been updated with some interesting news. Why not pop over there and read about, among other things, A Game of Thrones winning the Spanish Ignotus award and the upcoming A Song of Ice and Fire audiobooks?

ASoIaF Audio Books

We’ve mentioned it before, but now we have definitive confirmation that unabridged audio books of A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings and A Storm of Swords will indeed be released during the first quarter of 2004.

THK #2 Out

The second issue of "The Hedge Knight" comic book is now available. The first one has sold well, but there should still be copies available, in case you haven’t picked it up yet. It comes highly recommended by the thematic consultants. ;)

Jesse Scoble, line developer for the A Song of Ice and Fire RPG by Guardians of Order, has been answering some questions regarding the book at GOO’s message board.  Read it if you’re curious about where the project stands and where it’ll be going in the future.

Hedge Knight #2 Preview

Newsarama has a preview of the second issue of the comic book adaptation of GRRM’s novella (images at the bottom of the page).

Other noteworthy items in the article are a press release regarding the first issue’s success as well as images of the Ted Naismith 2nd issue cover (no, that background is not a photo!) and the special Brothers Hildebrandt cover.

Martin at Bubonicon

GRRM will be at Bubonicon 35 in Albuquerque, New Mexico from the 22nd to the 24th. It’s a great opportunity for residents of the Southwest to meet the man himself

The schedule includes GRRM giving a 50 minute reading on Friday and taking part in two panels that day and on Saturday. Charles Vess, illustrator for the limited edition of A Storm of Swords will also be there. Perhaps he’ll bring some of the art he’s produced for the novel? One can hope!
