Songs of the Dying Earth Publisher

As previously revealed, George R. R. Martin and Gardner Dozois will be co-editing a tribute anthology titled Songs of the Dying Earth, featuring a number of others contributing original tales set in Jack Vance’s memorable Dying Earth milieu. At the time that it was announced, only a British publisher had been secured. It’s now been revealed the Subterranean Press has landed the rights.

A brief query to them provided further clarification, which is that they will be publishing the first edition of the title (totalling 2,000 copies, 526 of which will be signed) while another, New York-based publisher will publish further trade copies.

It should be noted that Subterranean Press has also announced that as a compliment to their excellent The Jack Vance Treasury, they’ll also be publishing A Jack Vance Reader from the same editorial team.
