Our first glimpse of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), dressed as a khalessi of the Dothraki. Rather than the loose, open leather vest that she wears in the books, this garment is rather more covering. Her hair is certainly very pale, though naturally there are those who argue that it does not quite capture the silver-gold that her hair is described as. There is a question, too, as to whether contacts are being used to give her the typical Valyrian violet eyes, but it may be that in this day and age of HD, post-processing is preferred for such effects.
Behind her is Jhogo (Elyas Gabel), one of her kos, young Dothraki warriors who act as her personal guard. We have a better look now at what he’s wearing. It looks less like lamellar and more like some sort of woven leather jerkin. This is the second shot where we don’t get a hint as to whether he wears a braid or not, but we’ll assume it’s the case.
The Westeros network consists of several different sites, including a forum and a wiki, for all your A Song of Ice and Fire needs.
