An excellent close-up look at the Kingsguard’s helmet. As we’ve remarked before, the shape of it is rather fantasy, though it does remind us (broadly) of barbute, with the fantasy aspect in the flairing out of the helm (as well as the triple ridges on top). We get some great detail from this close-up, such as the decorative arches above the eye opening, and the spear-like shape on the nasal.
