Lord Eddard continues his entrance into the Red Keep. Amazing for me, in a way—I was there, I probably stepped right where Sean Bean did! You can see the stained-glass windows featuring the seven-pointed star, the holy symbol of the Seven, which is the dominant religion of most of the Seven Kingdoms. A detail that can’t quite be seen in these screencaps are the tall candle holders, whose feet are actually gilded sphinxes, a creature that seems to have been a popular artistic image of the Valyrians. Despite Robert’s hatred of the Targaryens, trappings of their past remain in the Red Keep, much as in the books.
