House Caswell of Bitterbridge

General Information

The small, stone castle at Bitterbridge sits near the roseroad, watching over the bridge the crosses the muddy waters of the upper Mander. Lord Caswell is a wispy young man with two daughters and perhaps other children.

Spoilers

Lord Caswell hosted King Renly and his army for some days, but was anxious to see them off because of the expense. After the news of Renly’s death at Storm’s End had reached Bitterbridge, fighting broke out among the lords and troops there over which side the host should join. When Lord Tarly captured the stores and executed various men, Lord Caswell shut the gates of Bitterbridge and appears to have been left alone thereafter.
