House Liddle

General Information

The Liddles are one of the mountain clans of the North, making their home in the high places of the mountains north of the wolfswood. The chieftain of the clan is known as the Liddle, although in Winterfell he is given the title Lord Liddle. The only members of the house to appearare an unnamed wanderer, Torren Liddle (the Liddle), and his sons Duncan, Morgan, and Rickard (called respectively Big Liddle, Middle Liddle, and Little Liddle).

Spoilers

The nameless Liddle provided a fire and food for Bran Stark and his companions after they escaped Winterfell, as well as giving them news of the happenings since they escaped. Although he was clearly aware of who Bran was, his aid extended no further.

The Liddle and his sons join Stannis as he moves against the ironborn at Deepwood Motte, and follow him as he marches on Winterfell as they intend to see Ned Stark’s daughter Arya (who, unbeknownst to them, is actually Jeyne Poole) rescued from the clutches of the Boltons.
