House Marsh

General Information

The only member of the house to appear is Bowen Marsh, a member of the Night’s Watch. He is chief of the stewards at Castle Black.

Bowen Marsh attempts to advise Lord Commander Jon Snow following selection, finding the young man too liable to take risks, especially when it comes to making peace with the wildlings. Again and again, Jon Snow remains adamant that the wildlings must be given a chance to help defend the realms of men. Marsh accepts this… until Jon Snow appears to plan to attack Ramsay Bolton after Bolton sends him a threatening letter in which he claims Stannis Baratheon was killed in battle. Marsh and others of the Watch wait outside for Jon after he announces his plan, and draw their knives against him. Bowen Marsh is one of the men who attack him, tears streaming down his face as he stabs him in his belly.
