House Webber of Coldmoat

General Information

The only member of the house to appear is Lady Rohanne Webber, known as “the Red Widow”, who ruled the house around 211. Coldmoat is a modest castle in the Reach, several days ride from the coast.

Lady Rohanne had a long-standing feud with Ser Eustace Osgrey, a neighboring landed knight whose house had once controlled Coldmoat and many other lands in the days before the Targaryens. The feud’s origin was the Blackfyre Rebellion, during which Ser Eustace fought for Daemon Blackfyre while Rohanne’s father fought for Daeron II. Ser Eustace’s sons were killed in the war, including the youth that the young Rohanne had loved. Ultimately, a dispute between them during a great drought led a combat between champions. Lady Rohanne’s champion, Ser Lucas Inchfield, was killed by Ser Duncan the Tall, but the end result was that Rohanne and Eustace were reconciled and married shortly thereafter.
