Here we see Clapton helping adjust the costuming on the young extra who played Prince Tommen in the pilot, during the scene where and Bran practice with one another while wearing very heavily padded protection. Note the quilting, a common feature of cloth-based armor in the Middle Ages. The wooden waster he carries to practice with seems perfectly in line with what modern historical armed combat associations make use of.
