Another, closer look at Ice.You can’t see it here, but the blade is made of pattern-welded steel, which will provide the rippling patterns of Valyrian steel. This weapon is probably the “hero” version of the sword—meant for close-ups and made of unsharpened steel—but as Tommy Dunne notes, any weapons used in fighting scenes are actually made of aluminum for its lightness and for safety reasons.
