Now we’re in the High Hall of the Eyrie. What we’re looking at now is the weirwood throne of Lord Arryn, which George, Parris, and I took turns sitting in when we visited the Paint Hall set. It’s a very unique interpretation of the chair—I’m quite sure it’s not what GRRM imagined; he just imagined a proper throne-like seat carved out of weirwood—but it adds a certain ancient quality to the setting. The high hall is quite amazing, as we’ll see in further shots.
