A good, close look a the Stark banner. It seems quite clear now that, for whatever reason, green has been introduced in the lower half of the field. Which is a shame, but we’re sure that they had reasons at the time. We do side with those who would, at least, have preferred if it the color introduced was a gray of some sort, perhaps of a lighter shade than the wolf, but so it goes.

We do like the direwolf, on the other hand, and the sense of depth that exists in the banner thanks to he wolf apparently being sewed onto the backing.
